How to make a new app

  1. Open up the app Hermit
  2. Click on the Green + at the top right.
  3. Select Create your Own
  4. Type in the web address like this: https://www.fim.org/(name)
  5. Press enter and wait until the page comes up.  Make sure that it comes up correctly.
  6. Click the +Create a Lite App in the bottom middle of the screen.
  7. Name it to the name of the school, and then click create.
  8. Click Add automatically.
  9. Click on the home screen, the circle at the bottom of the screen. You should now see your new app.
  10. Open your new app.
  11. Click on the Settings wheel.
  12. Click on Full-screen
  13. Swipe from the right side of the screen to the left.  You may have to do it twice.
  14. Click on Frameless.
  15. To see the navigation bar, swipe up from the bottom of the screen.

How to keep the screen from turning off

  1. Click on Settings
  2. Click on display
  3. Select Screen Timeout
  4. Select Never
  5. Don’t forget to plug the tablet in so that it doesn’t die

How to set up the signup

  1. Open up the app for the school
  2. Upswipe from the bottom of the page.
  3. Click the square
  4. Click on the FIM picture in the top middle.
  5. Select pin
  6. Click on GOT IT

How to unpin the form

  1. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
  2. Press and hold both the back button and the square at the same time until the lock screen appears.
  3. Swipe up on the screen.
  4. Type in the Logon pin and enter
